Dead Dolphin washed up.

The decaying body of what is believed to be a bottlenose dolphin was washed up on the North Cornish coast at Fistral beach recently.  Marine conservation officer for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Joana Doyle, commented in the press,"We believe there is only one local pod of inshore bottlenose dolphins.  In 1991 there were 18 of them.  Sightings last year say there were just six.  It may have been caught in nets and that is very worrying for their future in this area".

We can offer you the chance to try out a range of sailing craft from small and nimble to large and sedate. Let one of our skippers take you out at high speed under sail on board a catamaran for a really thrilling ride. Reaching speeds of up to thirty knots these are quicker than our big rib and not far off the speed our zapcat can achieve; with no engine!

For a more relaxing outing we suggest meeting us on the quayside for a day out (or longer) on one of the bigger yachts. With toilets, comfortable saloons and cooking facilities, you can push your day further and reach all those quiet, exclusive inlets and creeks. You can eat on board or take the tender to the shore to enjoy a barbecue or one of our delicious Cornish produce hampers. Those of you looking for an alternative to staying in a hotel might want to take advantage of the sleeping accomodation on board, waking up to a different view each day. This is a great way to unwind and see parts of our wonderful coastline from a different perspective.
