The recent spell of warm weather has sparked sightings of some amazing wildlife on the north coast. With mirror calm seas, a mother and calf porpoise were spotted travelling west from Kelsey head, near Newquay. Large concentrations of mackerel were busting up and breezing on the surface which is a good indicator of plankton blooms. With the sea temperatures rising these blooms create a source of food at the bottom of the food chain and the imminent arrival of larger marine species is expected.

First Aid training.

The team at Specialist Adventures can now offer quality first aid training for individuals or companies and organisations. From entry level One day Appointed Person training through to Four Day First Aid at Work courses, approved by the HSE, there is a package to suit your needs and legal requirements.

Delivered by serving frontline emergency personnel the courses can be run at our place or a venue of your choosing. We can also provide a full assessment of your Health and Safety needs in your workplace and assist you to meet any requirements with an ongoing package of consultancy.
