Dead Dolphin washed up.

The decaying body of what is believed to be a bottlenose dolphin was washed up on the North Cornish coast at Fistral beach recently.  Marine conservation officer for the Cornwall Wildlife Trust, Joana Doyle, commented in the press,"We believe there is only one local pod of inshore bottlenose dolphins.  In 1991 there were 18 of them.  Sightings last year say there were just six.  It may have been caught in nets and that is very worrying for their future in this area".

Family time is precious and one of the best ways to bond is to go camping. The reliance of each member of the family on the others pulls you closer together; dad showing how to light fires with sticks, mum skinning racoons for slippers and the kids catching rattlesnakes for the fun of it!

Well, we probably wouldn't recommend the racoon skinning or the rattlesnake cacthing, but we do recommend the camping experience.

You can choose from a serviced campsite with toilets and showers right up the scale to a barren wilderness miles from anyone. The tents can be erected by one of our team, who can also be persuaded to cook for you and guide you through the basics, or you can opt to pick up a rucksac with all you need for a night under the stars packed inside. With some of the most beautiful scenery in the world, the South West offers a happy camper lots of variation and never a dull view.
